2018 - A personal creative poster of mine, this galaxy composition was inspired by the Beatles song title of the same name.
2017 - Colossus was Loyola University Chicago’s biggest event every year with 2 big ticket acts performing in the spring semester. I had the privilege of branding the event and working with the artist teams on poster design and headshots.
2017 - While working as the designer for all things student government, I decided to freshen up the brand with some bold graphic images to grab the attention of new blood for the upcoming elections. These designs emulated the retro poster style looking forward to the future. Think Tomorrowland or World’s Fair.
2016 - Poster design for a university event called the “Loyola Showcase”. The design was meant to evoke an hand-made high school battle of the bands/talent show style.
2017 - “Colossus Opener” was an poster with a little glam and an off-register look with bright colors.
2017 - “Safety Forum” An event with a lot of copy and no distinct theme, simple shapes and subtle textures support the copy.
2016 - “Bust it for Justice” poster for a university event Open Mic Night with themes around hunger. All food sketches were drawn in Illustrator.
2015 - “Team Trivia” was a smaller event catered towards the brainiacs of the school. Contrasting colors show promoting competition.
2015 “Trick-or-Treat“ Aimed at parents with young children, this poster uses classic Halloween themes with bright colors while also displaying the crucial information.
2015 & 2017 - Posters with these leading ladies posed some challenges including incorporation of a headshot and a LOT of copy required by the University. While the picture carries the most weight in these designs, the counterbalance of the copy highlights what is the most important.
2017 - The “live like a local” print campaign assignment was mainly a copywriting challenge. The idea was to write the lines in the voice of each unique destination to highlight why staying in a local home is better than a plain old hotel.
